When a “MK” becomes a “M”

August 6th, 2008

What do I mean by “MK?” I mean missionary’s kid, i.e. a kid who’s parents are/were missionaries. So who am I speaking of? My youngest brother Gabe and his wife and little girl just left today for Thailand. My three brothers and I were on the mission field with my parents in Russia and in Malaysia as young children. Gabe, Dawn and Sailor have left for Thailand where they will be for two years. Gabe will be enrolled in Victory Bible College International - Thailand campus and Dawn will be teaching English. The Bible college offers hands-on training in missions where you get to preach what you practice. I must say that I am very proud of Gabe and Dawn for their willingness to answer the call God has given for their lives. So Gabe no longer are you a missionary’s kid, you are a missionary, and Sailor welcome to the MK club! Here is a link to their blog: Gabe and Dawn Foster

If you wish to support them here is their info:
Mail support to Great Commission Fellowship. This is our missions organization and the information we have on our newsletters. You can make checks payable to Great Commission Fellowship and just put Gabe & Dawn Foster next to memo on the check. Then you can mail it to their address at:

Ok, the moment is here! It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for, or maybe not. Anyways, the new HPC worship album is out now. You can order the CD or buy the digital version on iTunes, amazon.com or on Rhapsody. This is a live worship CD with 12 original songs from 7 different song writers, one of them being yours truly. Well what are you waiting for? Go get it!

This is my father, Tony Foster. This is a pic of of him about to throw down some shrimp scampi at the AGTS (Assembly of God Theological Seminary) graduation dinner. He received his Masters in Inter-cultural Ministries. Me and my three brothers drove into Springfield this weekend to be at his graduation. Congrats Dad!! Now its time for the after-party. Hopefully we can sleep in tomorrow after being up late till like 10:30 at night.

EDIT: I threw a few more pics up for your viewing pleasure.

If you happen to past by my office by chance, then peek in and get lost for a moment in Africa’s Serengeti. Here are a few of the animals you might see roaming (maybe not) free in my office.
